I often wake up in the morning and just throw on whatever clothes are lying around and I end up dressing considerably more normy-conformy than I really want to feel. I think I need to put a little more effort into my appearance, maybe make some new stencils and patches and get creative. I've got a little cash so I'm going to try to spend today getting supplies to do some stencils and work on my jackets.
I've got two main jackets that I wear right now. Here's the first.
Er, oops. This strange quadruped mammal lives in my house now.
There we go. The Stihl patch I found on a hat that had washed up onto a beach in Oregon. Pretty sweet.
My buddy Jimmy's band. Check out Amputape for more super grim shit.
This is my first and oldest jacket. I'm very proud of the Tankard patch.
A Young Ones reference that people don't generally get, for when I don't have a pack patch installed.
Looking around I'm not seeing any obvious answers about where to get supplies so I may just order some screen printing ink online. I'm going to take a break to play some Day Z with my buddy. Hopefully I'll get better at this once I get back into the habit.
Fuck! I'm depressed! And I think that the level of depression and general shittiness in my life is directly related to the lack of creativity and DIY action in my life. Facebook and the need for concision is destroying my ability to write, and it's destroying my capacity for introspection. So let this be a bold statement against concision, against stagnation, against boredom.
Let this be the 1st Transmission of many.
